Forthcoming: I co-authored an article on collaborative mindsets for breakout innovation, based on the research presented in the Stanford Social Innovation Review article Creating Breakout Innovation.
2020: I was part of the collaborative team that convened and facilitated the design justice workshop that’s the subject of this article, and I wrote the first draft of the article.
2013: In partnership with Berkeley Air Monitoring, Winrock International, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, I conducted a Kitchen Performance Test (KPT) in 100 households of rural Rwanda for the renewable energy company Inyenyeri. I trained and managed a team of 6 enumerators. The study I conducted was similar to the one described here, which occurred as a follow up project several years later.
2012: I convened the partnership that conducted a randomized control trial funded by the National Institutes of Health and published in 2018 in Energy for Sustainable Development. The study evaluated the impacts of Inyenyeri, a Rwandan renewable energy company.
